By accessing or using Contextify at contextify.ca ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Contextify is operated as a solo business based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada ("we", "us", "our").
Contextify is an AI-powered short-form video script analyzer. Users upload a video, audio is extracted in-browser, the audio is transcribed, and the transcript is scored across five dimensions. The Service returns a score, identifies the weakest part of the script, and provides a rewritten hook suggestion.
The Service is designed for talking-head and voiceover video content. It is not designed for music-only, silent, or purely visual content.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Contextify. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
To use Contextify, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, all activity that occurs under your account, and notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access at support@contextify.ca.
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically. You will receive a receipt by email after each charge. We do not store your payment card details.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months. Refund requests for extenuating circumstances may be submitted to support@contextify.ca.
We reserve the right to change pricing. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect for existing subscribers.
You agree not to use Contextify to upload content you do not own or do not have the right to analyze, attempt to reverse engineer or copy the scoring engine, use automated tools or bots to run analyses in bulk, circumvent usage limits (including by creating multiple accounts), upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights, attempt to access other users' data or accounts, or interfere with or disrupt the infrastructure of the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice or refund.
You retain full ownership of the videos and transcripts you upload to Contextify. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.
By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process it for the sole purpose of delivering the Service to you — specifically, transcription and script analysis. We do not use your content to train AI models.
Your video file is never uploaded to our servers. Audio extraction happens entirely in your browser. Only the extracted audio is temporarily transmitted for transcription and is deleted immediately afterward.
All elements of Contextify — including the scoring engine, interface, design, copy, and underlying code — are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission.
Contextify uses AI (Anthropic Claude and OpenAI Whisper) to generate transcripts, scores, and suggested hook rewrites. AI-generated suggestions are not guaranteed to improve video performance, results may vary based on transcript quality, content type, and platform, and you are solely responsible for any decisions made based on analysis results.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that results will be accurate or meet your expectations. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Contextify and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim, or $50 CAD, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Contextify and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a notice in the product at least 14 days before they take effect.
